Equipping, Supporting, and Serving Our National Partners

Mike and Sheri Parks
Michael and his wife, Sheri, serve in crisis regions with unreached and unengaged communities that have little or no assistance and that suffer from oppression, persecution, war or natural disasters.
Through holistic transformation --- building relationships, earning trust, attempting to deeply understand, and assisting with recovery toward independence from outside help --- the Parks seek to restore dignity and respect to people who are suffering.
Since helping repatriate refugees from the Kosovo conflict in 1999, Michael and Sheri have overseen disaster response and development operations for more than 20 years in places such as Afghanistan, Sudan-Darfur, Lebanon and Northern Iraq to bring physical, mental and spiritual healing and health. Prior to this work, Michael was a pastor for Calvary Chapel in Wichita, KS, and an engineer for Boeing.
Michael and Sheri have five beautiful children: Carlos, Ilana, Josiah, Micah, and Elijah.
Dan and Nora Emig
Founding others in-Christ, via the Gospel, a focus on spiritually co-journeying, development and disaster relief, Dan helps the poorest of the poor become sustainable and human in the fullest sense. Engaging location-based relationships and local resources, he serves others in their own catalyst of change discovered, engaged, and to develop and grow in their own cultural context. Alongside his helping others in the areas of food, water, health, education and finance; he is deeply concerned for their journey in God, trusting Him more. He is always looking for key relationships and new areas in which to enrich other’s lives in these his passions.
Dan and Nora were married in 1992, reside in Monument, Colorado, and have three adult children – Jonathan, Bryan, and Eliana. Each of them enjoyed the adventures in living in Eastern Europe (Romania) for nine years and are enriched in their lives and futures from these experiences. Dan’s village development work has taken him to India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Armenia, Serbia, Iraq/Kurdistan, and Lebanon. Dan’s truly GOD-miraculous recovery from multiple life-threatening-death and heart-related events in 2021 have curtailed his travels, yet allowed him to best focus on supporting others in these partnerships. More importantly, has allowed him to invest in the spiritual direction of others, Christ living His life in another, his heart lives to be and do.
